wiener prater

its far-visible silhouette makes vienna's landmark, the ferris wheel, a magnet for all visitors to vienna. it is located at the main entrance of the wiener prater. when people outside of vienna speak of the prater, they usually mean just the more famous amusement park. this is located at the western tip of the area and covers only a very small part of the entire approximately 6km prater landscape. a visit to the würstelprater is therefore a must when visiting vienna and great fun for young and old.
